Joe Kaplan is an excellent realtor. He works whatever hours it takes to get the job done–rising early, staying up late, and even making phone calls while riding his bike. He patiently guided me through the complicated and deadline-driven process of buying a home, making sure I met my obligations in a timely fashion while minimizing my stress. Most glaring statistic has to be the number of transactions comparing 200o with 2009, down from a whopping 414 sales in the first 6 months of the year to a paultry 149, a precipitous decline of 64%. Average prices for the first 6 months are back to roughly 2004 levels, at approximately $500,000, after  peaking at $607,423 in 2006. It’s a modest decline of 18% when compared to many neighboring communities where prices have collapsed in excess of 60%.
